The Golden Anchor karaoke night Friday, 18 August 2023, was great for the venue. Not only was the pub packed with karaoke singers but to add a dash of flare to the event, the pub was visited by non other than Clay Milner Russell, who plays Bobby Beale in Eastenders.
Clay Milner Russell with pub landlord Lana. It was a great karaoke night, and Clay’s down-to-earth approach made it memorable. There were no airs or graces about this young man. He came to enjoy himself, and he did so with dignity and integrity. Eastenders, be proud of this actor.
